Z-Saw Kataba 265mm/10.43" Convex Crosscut Saw without Back Cross

Kataba saws are the perfect saw for general cutting. They have a single cutting edge without a back or spline. Their blades are considerably thicker than those found on Dozuki back saws. With a thicker blade and no back, these saws are capable of making deep and long cuts in hard and soft woods. These saws have teeth filed for crosscutting and will produce clean and fast cuts across the grain. The convex cutting edge can cut wood deeply without slipping in the kerf, and easily achieves a straight bottom line of various half-lap joints in either softwood or hardwood.
