Locally Sourced Lumber
At Norfolk Wood Shop, we provide premium, sustainably sourced lumber to fuel your next woodworking project. Our collection includes live edge slabs, turning blanks, and project-ready chunks, all carefully handpicked for their natural beauty and high quality. Sourced ethically from Virginia, our materials meet the standards of discerning craftsmen who value both artistry and sustainability. We price our slabs by the board foot to help you easily estimate costs. A board foot is a unit of measurement equal to a 1-inch thick, 12-inch wide, and 12-inch long piece of wood. To calculate the board feet in any piece, multiply its thickness (in inches) by its width (in inches) by its length (in feet), then divide by 12. Explore our selection today and craft with confidence.
